Challenge

CBRE's D&T teams — managers, operations staff, contractors, and finance admins — were each managing their workflows across scattered spreadsheets, manual emails, Power BI dashboards, and Teams messages. To complete one task, users had to jump between multiple tools, chase people directly, and piece together information from disconnected sources. There was no single source of truth.

Approach

I conducted 10+ user interviews across all user groups, built personas for each module, and mapped journey maps per workflow before touching Figma. Three design principles guided every decision: one place for a complete picture, role-based clarity for different user types, and automation of invisible work wherever possible.

The IOP is currently in active development. Asset Management and Contractor Management are built. Team Management is partially in development. Finance module is in design. The portal is on track to consolidate 6+ disconnected tools into one unified system for the entire CBRE D&T division.
